Lily Phou received degrees in Mass Communications and Spanish from Texas State University. In addition, she also attended Instituto Tecnlogico y de Estudios Superiores en Monterrey, Mexico to focus and study International Business. Lily's education, experience and professional affiliations have fostered her practical approach to offering financial services and have helped guide her clients to practical solutions for their retirement goals. She has been previously licensed from FINRA and the state of Texas in insurance to practice and advise clients on investment and exit strategies. Her background in Operations and Human Resources in banking and in tech-startups have led her to understand employment benefits from the client's side as well as the administration side.

Maintaining a strong sense of community and a solid professional foundation are very important to her. She currently serves as:

  • The Vice-President for The Friends of the Visual Arts, a non-profit for providing scholarships to students to enrich their lives financially and in education and arts.
  • A Board Member of the Board of Trustees for the Museum of East Texas in Lufkin, a museum specializing in American and regional art and history relating to the heritage of East Texas.
  • A Director for the Rotary Club and President-Elect for 2022, a club dedicating service above self in civic engagement.
  • An advisor to the Advisory Board for the Music Preparatory Program for the Department of Music at Stephen F. Austin State University, providing accessibility and inclusivity to the community for music education.
  • A Commissioner for the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of Nacogdoches.
